Plaza for All Rocks Olympic Plaza this August with Emerson Drive and Kyle McKearney!

Arts Commons has established a tradition of giving summer a final send-off with a free concert of epic proportions. It was seems only fitting, that in this last summer before Olympic Plaza has it’s dramatic makeover, that we bring Alberta-born Emerson Drive on their farewell tour to rock the night away. Arts Commons invites you to join us on Olympic Plaza for an all ages event celebrating the best of Albertan country music that you won’t want to miss. Guests are invited to RSVP in advance to secure their spot. Visit artscommons.ca/plazaforall to RSVP now!

Over the span of their nearly three-decade long career, National treasure and country fan-favourite Emerson Drive has won over audiences with their clean harmonies and heartfelt lyrics. Among their many awards and accolades, they’ve been honoured with GRAMMY and JUNO nominations and two wins for Best Group of the Year from the Canadian Country Music Association.

To get us warmed up, Calgary’s own YYC Music Award and CCMA winner Kyle McKearney takes the stage with his distinct brand of bluegrass blended country that speaks to both his Canadian roots and Métis heritage. His many awards and accolades have boosted him to be one Canada’s biggest breakthrough independent country/Americana artist of recent memory.

Join Arts Commons Presents for Plaza for All, a free evening of music, food trucks, an art activation tent for families, and two powerhouse country music performers under the wide open skies of Olympic Plaza. Guests are invited to RSVP in advance to secure their spot. Visit artscommons.ca/plazaforall for more details!

Arts Commons wishes to express our sincere appreciation to EllisDon Construction, KPMB Architects, Hindle Architects, gh3*, CCxA, and Belleville Placemaking for their support of Plaza for All featuring Emerson Drive.
